Ottawa Pinball League Returns

EVERY Sunday starting January 25
(Following IFPA Provincial Finals Weekend)

The Ottawa Pinball League is officially back, and the Ottawa Pinball Arcade is proud to be its permanent home base.

After strong demand from the local community, OPL returns as a structured weekly league, running Sunday afternoons and centered at the arcade. While there may be occasional events hosted at private collections, the league will primarily operate at the Ottawa Pinball Arcade.

Mike Casselman will be running the Ottawa Pinball League, bringing consistent leadership and a deep understanding of competitive pinball through his work with Pinballers and league play across Ontario and far beyond, he has played in many of the biggest National and International events, so Ottawa Players are very fortunate to have a World Class Competitor and Tournament Director running the league week after week.

A Real Competitive Pathway

With Ottawa now officially recognized as the host city for the IFPA Ontario Open and Women’s Provincial Finals, this league plays an important new role.

The Ottawa Pinball League gives local players a meaningful opportunity to earn WPPR points close to home, helping them:

  • Build and maintain IFPA rankings
  • Improve seeding and eligibility
  • Qualify for future Provincial Finals without the need to regularly travel to Toronto or farther afield

In short, this league strengthens Ottawa’s position as a true competitive pinball hub.

There is no player cap for the inaugural season. If participation exceeds expectations, future seasons may introduce limits. The plan is to run 4–5 seasons per year, creating a consistent and accessible competitive circuit for Ottawa-area players.
