For the first time ever, the Ottawa Pinball Arcade will host both IFPA Ontario Provincial Finals in the same weekend — welcoming the Open Division and the Women’s Division to Ottawa, marking a major milestone for competitive pinball in Canada.
Saturday, January 17 — IFPA Ontario Open Provincial Finals

The 2025 IFPA Ontario Open Provincial Finals are coming to Ottawa for the first time in history, marking the first time this championship has ever been held outside Toronto.
Ontario’s top players will compete across multiple eras of pinball to crown the Ontario Open Provincial Champion.
Sunday, January 18 — IFPA Ontario Women’s Provincial Finals

We are proud to host the IFPA Ontario Women’s Provincial Finals the following day.
- This is the second time the Women’s Finals have been held in Ottawa
- First time ever at the Ottawa Pinball Arcade

Friday, January 16 — Warm-Up Tournament With Jeff Teolis
48-player cap
Flip Frenzy format*, begins at 6pm, late comers can be added up to 6:15pm. All machines will be set to unlimited play. Flip frenzy ends at 9:15pm (no new games). Standings are determined by best +/- in win-loss differential.
Group matchplay playoffs for top 25% (rounded up to groups of 4). In playoffs, top seed picks “banks” which include Old, Mid, and Modern machine (4-2-1-0 scoring). Cannot pick same bank in a row in playoff rounds. 2 groups can play same bank with different starting machines.
Cost: $35. ($20 to OPA, $1 to IFPA, $14 for prizing)

- Many Open and Women’s finalists will be in town for the weekend
- Even with all finalists attending, space remains open – Be There!
The arcade will be open only to registered tournament players on Friday.
Livestream Coverage
The Open Finals will be streamed live by Pinball Medics in partnership with Pinballers, delivering full competitive coverage with commentary and multi-camera production.
