The Ottawa Food Bank is confronting an unprecedented crisis, with 1 in 4 households in our city experiencing food insecurity. In 2023, there were over 556,000 visits to food programs—a 90% increase since 2019. The situation continues to worsen, with a 10-15% monthly increase in visits throughout 2024, culminating in a record 50,000 visits in October.
To address this urgent need, the Ottawa Pinball Arcade is hosting a special food drive on December 6th. From 2 PM to 11 PM. Enjoy unlimited pinball for just $15 for adults and $10 for children 12 and under. To encourage generous contributions, we’re offering a $5 discount on admission per person for every 2 non-perishable food items each person donate.
