After 4 months, we have been given the go ahead to re-open as of Friday July 17th. While we are pleased that Ontario and Ottawa have entered stage 3, we are still not comfortable opening right away, and in order to protect our customers and our community, we have made the difficult decision to postpone our re-opening until at least early September, and possibly later depending on the situation at that time. As of August 10th, Ottawa has been a Provincial “hotspot”. We are looking for a two (2) week trend of cases dropping below daily double digit increases, and will update here as the situation evolves.
Patrons will be required to wear a mask or face covering, and follow social distancing guidelines. We will have masks for sale for those that need one, available at our cost for $1.00, with hand sanitizer available throughout the premises.
The Neighbourhood Pub is now open, featuring a large outdoor patio to enjoy their amazing wings and a cold drink in the fresh air. They have also decided to postpone opening their indoor area until we have a better picture of how the re-opening of the economy impacts the Covid-19 situation.
We will not be holding our Wednesday FREE PLAY events at this time, but hope they can return in the future when restrictions are eventually lifted and the risk of spreading the Virus is lower.
In the meantime, we encourage everyone to come out on Wednesdays, join the Pinball Medics crew, and enjoy a drink and a snack with friends on the patio, talk pinball, shop for parts at the adjoining Pinball Medics storefront, and help support the Neighbourhood Pub and the Arcade begin on the road to recovery after this devastating blow to our business and personal finances.
